Tie-Breaking Rules
If two or more candidates obtain the same marks in the Main Examination, the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) will determine their merit ranking according to the tie-breaking rules prescribed in the official notification.
The tie will be resolved in the following order:
- If two or more candidates secure equal marks in the Main Examination, preference will be given to the candidate who is older in age.
